What experience do you have?
I graduated from Lenoir City High School in the top ten of my class. I continued my education at Knoxville Business College and graduated with a 4.0 GPA . I then went to work in accounts payable for a clothing manufacturing company for 9 years. Then, I worked as an office manager for a cabinet business for 17 years. I started here at Janney & Associates in October 2021.
What brought you to this area?
I moved here from Kendallville, Indiana when I was a senior in High School. I have a twin sister Leticia and a younger Brother Michael. We moved with our parents for a new job opportunity for my dad. It was a brand-new environment for us coming from the flat lands of Indiana to the hills of Tennessee. My sister and I did not like sports but was active in a girls and boys show choir at our high school.
What are you up to today?
I’m the proud mother of three boys and one girl. I am very lucky to have my kids and am very proud of their accomplishments. My oldest, Austin, married his High School sweetheart, Breanna, in December 2021. Jacob is a freshman at Tennessee Tech along with his brother, who will be graduating in May of 2022. Luke and Gracie are in middle school. All my boys are big sports fans and are great athletes. Poor Gracie has been to more ballgames than she cares to remember.
For myself, I am proud to say that I am starting a new job and a new life. I am currently married to a high school sweetheart. We found each other again after 30 years of being apart. He is from Kendallville, my hometown. We were married April 9 in 2022. This is a new start for the both of us. Life throws you curves, but God gives you the answers on his time, not yours. New adventures are ahead.
