Janney & Associates, CPA traces its roots back to 1986 when Tom Janney moved back to his home town of Smithville, Tennessee and worked for CPA, Edward Fuqua. Eventually, Tom decided to follow his American dream and venture out on his own, forming Thomas G. Janney, CPA, sole proprietorship, in 1989.
In 1992 the business was incorporated, becoming Janney & Associates, CPAs, PC. In 1998 Tom added wealth management services to the firm by joining broker\dealer HD Vest. In 2019 HD Vest became “Avantax” and Tom is affiliated with his firm to this day.
The firm has had many changes over the years, but one remains constant – our great friends and clients. Thank you!
